What types of walk-in rooms are available?
We offer walk-in coolers, walk-in freezers, panels and doors, refrigeration units, accessories, standard sizes, and custom cold rooms.
What standard sizes are available?
Standard sizes include 6 ft, 8 ft, 10 ft, and 12 ft options.
What size walk-in cooler do I need for my restaurant?
For most small restaurants under 80 seats, an 8 ft × 8 ft cooler is a solid starting point. It gives roughly 55 sq ft of usable floor space. Higher-volume operations typically move to 10 ft or 12 ft boxes.
What businesses are these cold rooms designed for?
Our modular cold rooms are designed for restaurants, supermarkets, bakeries, cafés and coffee shops, warehouses, convenience stores, hotels, and catering businesses.

What temperature range do walk-in coolers support?
Cooler panels are rated for 32°F to 50°F.
What temperature range do walk-in freezers support?
Freezer panels and doors are engineered for −4°F to −8°F continuous operation.
What refrigeration unit do I need for an 8 ft cooler?
An 8 ft × 8 ft cooler box typically requires a ¾ HP to 1 HP condensing unit for cooler temperatures. The exact unit depends on ambient temperature, how often the door is opened, and what products are stored.
Panels & Doors

What panel thickness options are available?
3", 4", and 5" panel options are available for different temperature ranges and insulation needs.
What finish do the panels have?
The panels have a food-grade galvanized steel interior and exterior finish.
What door features are included?
Insulated doors include a magnetic gasket seal, self-closing hinges, and interior safety release on all cooler and freezer doors. Freezer doors include anti-condensation heater cable.
How are the panels connected?
Panels use aluminum eccentric cam-lock connectors.
Can standard panels be used for custom room sizes?
Yes. Standard panels can be combined to build any footprint. Floor panels, extra doors, and custom cutouts for refrigeration units are available.
Installation

Can I install the cold room myself?
The panel assembly is designed to be straightforward using cam-lock connectors. The refrigeration hookup, including electrical and refrigerant lines, should be done by a licensed technician.
Do I need a floor panel for a walk-in freezer?
For freezers, an insulated floor panel is strongly recommended. It prevents condensation, protects the concrete slab, and improves energy efficiency.
Do I need a floor panel for a walk-in cooler?
Coolers can often be installed without a floor panel if the existing floor is level and properly sealed.

What is the lead time for standard-size rooms?
Standard-size rooms ship in 5–10 business days.
What is the lead time for custom configurations?
Custom configurations take 3–4 weeks.
How is delivery handled?
All rooms ship via freight truck, flat-packed on pallets.
Is liftgate service available?
Liftgate service is available. Please indicate when requesting your quote if you do not have a loading dock.

What warranty is included?
All panels and doors carry a 2-year manufacturer's warranty.
Are refrigeration units covered by warranty?
Refrigeration units purchased with a room are covered for 1 year.
